Senior Account Manager

LOCATION: Hybrid home based and remotely within region(s) of accountability

POST: Partnership Manager (Level 2) 35,000- 40,000 euros

DEPARTMENT: Partnerships

REPORT TO: Head of Partnerships

REQUIRED: Full Drivers Licence and access to your own vehicle


We are looking for an enthusiastic and solution-oriented senior account manager to be responsible for

multiple client accounts. The senior account managers responsibilities include maintaining a thorough

knowledge of our business and offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts,

managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and

coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations.


Senior Account Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree/ or equivalent - preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with business development, sales, or account management.
  • Experience managing large account portfolios.
  • Strong customer service and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented.
  • Meticulous and able to prioritize.
  • Able to secure new company supporters
  • Initiative-taker and able to work efficiently under pressure.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Operational

  • Work with the Regional Lighthouse Club Committees as an active team member by supporting

their initiatives and events.

  • Generate new Company Supporters in regions
  • Account Manage company supporters i.e., those who have contributed financially in the region

and ensure annual donation renewal, Lighthouse days and utilisation of services.

  • Maintain current key accounts and following up on leads and winning new clients.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts.
  • Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships.
  • Attend events and speak to represent the charity as required.
  • Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Providing superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes.
  • Supporting sales teams to improve their performance and reach targets.
  • Developing and maintaining exceptional knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings,competitors, and industry.
  • Contact construction companies and present to them the charitable support we can deliver to

support their employees and subcontractors in the industry.

  • Working with these companies to engage with Lighthouse and communicate our Construction

Industry Helpline, app and Wellbeing Academy

  • Gain commitment from companies to become annual supporters of our charity through our
  • Company Supporter programme and/ or to deliver Lighthouse Fundraising Day every year to

support the charity.

  • Produce monthly reports in relation to all Activity and Donors.
  • Work within agreed criteria, policies and practices and signposting to the assistance we can

provide .

  • Ensure all company records are updated within Client Management System.
  • Work to agreed targets, providing positive outcomes and impactful results.
  • Be responsible and accountable for your decisions and actions, positively engaging with

supporters

  • Remain objective and professional when dealing with Trade organisations and Annual

supporters

  • Speak at Events to promote services and promote Supporter package to potential Company

Supporters.

  • Act as primary contact for any Trade alliance connections that promotes relationships between

construction companies

  • Gaining commitment from the companies to become annual supporters of our charity through

our Company Supporter programme or failing that deliver a Lighthouse Fundraising Day every

year to support our cause.

  • Operate as part of the Committees to ensure we optimise our database and contacts including

the existing membership.

  • To take on any additional tasks and follow reasonable requests to support the wider team and

charity

  • Keep, record, and maintain accurate records of contact, Lighthouse day activities, outcomes.
  • To keep these records stored within the company database.
  • Share best practice, new ideas and suggestions for improvements with the wider team.
  • Any other reasonable request from your line manager relating to the support of the business

requirements.
